Vegetarian Enzyme is one of the most potent non-animal sourced enzyme products currently available. This acid stable, vegetarian full spectrum enzyme formula provides a broad complement of protein, carbohydrate, and fat digesting enzymes. Cellulase is also included, which is critical for the breakdown of cellulose, a major component of all plant material. Each natural enzyme is selected for its specific metabolic activity. Supplements containing pancreatic enzymes are relatively unstable in the digestive tract, whereas Vegetarian Enzyme is acid stabilized to resist gastric acids.
