G.I. Digest is a comprehensive enzyme formula containing all the necessary digestive enzymes including lactase, protease, amylase and alpha-galactosidase that assist in the proper digestion of proteins, fats, starch, dairy, and gluten.
Formulated with multiple proteases, lipases, and carbohydrases from non-animal sources, G.I. Digest provides enzymatic activity across a broad pH range that ensures the enzymes are active throughout the stomach and through the small intestine. The enzyme alpha-galactosidase included in this unique enzymatic formula can specifically act to reduce gas production following a meal rich in fermentable carbohydrates such as vegetables, legumes, and whole grains by aiding in their digestion.
